Rahu calculated as amatyakaraka

Feature Request

I’m new to vedic astrology, and the vedic astrologers who have read my chart don’t count Rahu as amatyakaraka. How do I change the calculation so that Rahu/Ketu don’t count? I want to stick with the basics for now, and follow the astrologers I’ve talked to.

    Thanks for raising this. Chara Karaka calculation genuinely varies across lineages. Different teachers read Parashara's and Jaimini's sutras differently, and the resulting schemes are all classical and internally consistent.

    I'm adding a setting for this within about a week. Three options will be available:

    1. Eight chara karakas: Rahu included, Pitri Karaka placed between Matri and Putra. This is the bot's current behavior and will remain the default.

    2. Seven chara karakas (No PiK): Rahu excluded, Pitri Karaka excluded from the sequence.

    3. Seven chara karakas (PK merged with MK): Rahu excluded, Putra Karaka merged with Matri Karaka.

    These match the corresponding options in JHora.
