This daily is not an accurate description of were planets are transiting In my houses

This has been an issue with asking questions to the AI as well. I’m canceling my subscription because I have to pay to correct the errors and get apologies for inaccuracies and told I am correct.

    Following up now that I've found the actual bug.

    The AI wasn't miscounting your houses. It was working from planetary positions it had never calculated. The tool that computes real transit positions was never made available to it, so it answered from memory, and when it got pushed back on, it agreed instead of recomputing.

    That's exactly the loop you described, you supplying the correct data, and getting apologies back. The code you saw instead of an answer came from the same fault.

    All of it is fixed and deploying shortly. The AI can no longer state a transit or dasa period without calculating it first, and it can no longer accept a correction it hasn't verified.

    This affected other users, not just you.

    You were right about the mismatch. Here's the explanation.

    The daily isn't a transit report. It's built on a Tithi Pravesh chart, cast for the moment each day when the Sun-Moon angle returns to its position at your birth. That moment lands at a different clock time daily, so that chart's ascendant changes daily and rarely matches your natal one. Houses in the daily are counted from that ascendant, not your natal ascendant, or your moon sign. So they won't agree with your chart or with the Transits tab. That’s the method working as intended, and it's why the mismatch looked random rather than off by a fixed amount.

    Two things here are our fault, though:

    • We never labelled which chart the houses come from, and the feature page says it blends transits with your birth chart. You read it correctly. That's on us.

    • The chat issue is a separate, real bug. The tool feeding planetary positions to the AI returns signs and degrees but no house numbers, so the model was calculating them itself and getting them wrong. That's why you kept correcting it and being told you were right. I'm fixing it.

    You can cancel any time from Settings > Billing. I won't try to talk you out of it.
